Nothing wrong with letting the news hit and the market set itself up. See if you levels are broken or holding. See if we are technical trend or rotational. This can mean waiting an hour or more. If a technical trend with single prints, trade off the singles. If we are rotational fade the extremes till an extreme is broken with singles. Pretty simple. The worst thing you can do on a day with high impact news is get beat up before the market tells you what it wants to do then you cannot trade it because you are busted.
